+ The X-Files: I Want to Believe wasn't quite as terrible as I'd been told, but it wasn't good either. The solution to the mystery of the missing people was ludicrous, as was the way said solution was figured out, which was basically glossed over because it doesn't make sense. Billy Connolly was about the only really good thing in it. Also, if you're going to finally bring us Mulder and Scully again after six years, how about actually letting them share some screen time? Honestly, it felt like they only had a handful of scenes together. And considering the fact that Mulder was proved right in every single episode of the TV show, you'd think Scully would stop doubting his hunches by now and just go with it. "Oh, you think this guy's psychic? Okay then."
+ The Squid and the Whale may be the most emotionally brutal movie I've ever seen.
