The Full Moon Horror Road Show 2008

As longtime readers of this journal know, I sometimes like to read to see what crazy shit is driving the latest nail into the horror genre's coffin. And there's always crazy shit to read about. After all, is where I first heard about Gary Busey's direct to DVD horror-comedy The Gingerdead Man.

But this time I found something that looks interesting. Full Moon Studios, the company that brought you such direct to video hits as Subspecies, Puppet Master and, yes, The Gingerdead Man, apparently has a traveling roadshow this summer.

Even better, the show will be in New York City on Wednesday, June 18! Tickets are only $20 a pop ($10 for groups of 8 or more). I have to admit, it looks like such goofy fun that I'm thinking about going. Hopefully I can lure Kelli into coming along, but we're not sure what her summer schedule will be yet.

Also, the show will be taking place at New York's famed China Club! Is there any better way to see one of New York's premiere nightlife hotspots than via a dorky horror convention? I don't think so!
