I do, however, most definitely feel 39, or maybe even older and more crotchety than that, when I see emails like this:
dear horror writers association,
im a student at uni studying my final year, and with my dissertation im discussing the history of horror and how it has evolved over the decades, i was woundering if someone could shed some light on sum interesting theories about horror as a genre?? and what has changed about horror??

This guy is a senior in university? Kids today! I'd throw my walker at him, but I need it to get to the club for lunch. Why do they always keep it so cold in there? Can't they turn down the air? Now it's too hot!
Anyway, I figure I'd better get used to 39. After all, I plan on turning 39 many more times in the coming years.
Get off my lawn!
