The strangest thing about this development, though, is that John Mark Byers, father of one of the victims and considered by some supporters of the West Memphis Three to be a more viable suspect, is leading the charge to get Echols, Baldwin and Misskelley released. Byers was never considered a suspect by the police, but now suspicion has fallen on another parent of one of the murdered children: Terry Hobbs.
This story just gets weirder and weirder. I tell you this, though. Echols, Baldwin and Misskelley are going to have one hell of a lawsuit in their hands when they get out of jail!
