It was just as much fun as last year, if not more because our party was bigger. There weren't any significant changes to the haunted house -- all the different rooms I remember were still there: the meat locker with the zombie in it, the Texas Chain Saw Massacre room with the really fat cannibal at the table, the 3D maze, etc. -- but it was all new to our friends, so it was like they were new to us again too. Afterward, one of Sarah and J.T.'s friends got interviewed about Blood Manor (ka-cheww! ka-chewwww!) on camera for...well, I don't know what. A commercial? A documentary? Keep an eye out for a woman named Akiko shrieking in terror on some kind of screen somewhere soon!
Last year, Dave and I went to the Tempest bar afterward and wound up flirting with some F.I.T. students (well, I did, not Dave; he's happily married). This year, no flirty F.I.T. students, just a fun dinner at an Irish pub called McManus.
And now, this afternoon, is my friend Mark's burlesque birthday party. Burlesque? While the sun is still up? That's crazy talk!
