When I was emailing last week with Deborah Layne at Wheatland Press about goody bag items for the Bram Stoker Awards Weekend this June, I half-jokingly mentioned I was hoping for copies of the latest Polyphony. Jokingly because sending that many unpaid-for copies would probably bankrupt a small operation like Wheatland; half-jokingly because I really just wanted a copy for myself.
Well, yesterday a complimentary copy of Polyphony 5 came in the mail from Deborah. That was incredibly sweet of her! It's probably going to take me a while to get to it, since I'm dying to get back to the Straubathon, but I just wanted to take a moment to publicly thank her for doing that. She's the bee's knees.
