Goodbye, House M.D., I'm done watching you.
The medical mysteries are still interesting, but the formula has become way too obvious. All you have to do is look at the clock to know if they've hit upon the right diagnosis yet. Oh, it's only 8:30? Then it's not cancer!
Even worse, though, is the fact that the character dynamics have all become stale and absurd. How many times is Wilson going to make a sucker's bet with House, or let House walk all over him? How many times is Foreman going to let House shit all over him while Foreman shakes his head and smiles wistfully, like he's watching a child learn to ride a bicycle?
Also, I miss Thirteen and Cuddy. These new people suck. And Dr. Taub's fatherhood plotline couldn't be more mind-numbingly boring if it were an episode of Terra Nova.
Off the DVR schedule with you, House M.D.! Call me when it's revealed this season was just a dream or something.
On a side note, there are remarkably few shows left on the TV Nerd's DVR schedule. Oh, Walking Dead, you can't come back fast enough! (And maybe if we're lucky ABC's The River, which starts up this week, will be a welcome new addition.)
