My friends Mark and Dalila and I gave out candy to a massive amount of kids at their house in Kensington, Brooklyn. Interesting fact: children come in waves, or packs, like piranha. We were out of candy by 7:30, and we had a lot of candy.
I saw a lot of Captain Americas (and one Miss America, the girl version, apparently), Batmans, Supermans, and Spider-Mans. Saw one Green Lantern. And lots and lots of Scream masks. I'm kind of sorry to see that one make a comeback. It's boring and unoriginal, considering it's been around since the late '90s.
I was dressed as a werewolf, and had fun teasing a little girl dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. Her little brother was dressed as Darth Vader. They made an odd pair.
Best news of all? We managed to give out all the candy rather than eat it all ourselves!
