(no subject)

Last night on Hardball, Chris Matthews asked one of his guests whether Anthony Weiner's decision not to step down in the wake of his sex scandal would be good or bad for the Democratic Party. Not whether it would it be good or bad for Weiner's constituents, or for the American people as a whole, but for his political party. This is the state of our politics now.

Like Orwell wrote, "There will be no loyalty except loyalty towards the Party."
