Big Apple Comic Con 2012

I'm happy to announce that I will be a guest at the next Big Apple Comic Con, happening right here in New York City, May 19-20, 2012!

Among the other guests is artist Greg Hildebrandt, one half of the Brothers Hildebrandt, a duo whose legendary Tolkien-inspired artwork graced the bedroom and dorm room walls of my youth in numerous fantasy art calendars. I hope I get the chance to tell him how much his and his brother's artwork fired up my imagination.

Also among the guests that have been announced so far are writers Keith R.A. DeCandido, whom I blame for Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark despite the fact that it's the one Spider-Man property he didn't write, and John Langan, an infamous scoundrel about whom the less said the better.

I'll be signing (and probably selling) copies of Chasing the Dragon and General Slocum's Gold. I'll also be signing copies of Hunt at World's End for those of you who were lucky enough to have gotten one before the Dorchester shakeup. Believe it or not, physical copies of World's End are now collector's items, so you might want to get yours signed as soon as you can.

So come join me next May at the Big Apple Comic Con while I sit and watch fans barrel past my table without a second glance as they head for the famous comics creators and film and TV celebrities! Maybe we can pass the time teasing Keith some more about Spider-Man on Broadway.
