|It's Been So Long Since I've Made It To A Year With Someone, I Can't Even Spell Anniversary Anymore

The girlfriend and I had a wonderful anniversary celebration last night.
First, drinks in Revival Bar's lovely garden, since we went to Revival Bar on our first date and thought it would be fun to retrace our steps. This time, however, she did not punch me in the kidney while we were there. (True story!)
Then we settled in for a romantic dinner at Bistango, a delicious Italian restaurant with one of the best gluten-free menus in the city. Definitely a favorite of ours. When we told the owner that it was our first anniversary, and that we'd had dinner at Bistango on our first date, he gave us a bottle of wine as a gift. What a sweet guy!
Though yesterday was our actual anniversary, the festivities will continue this weekend with a sunset sail around New York Harbor, courtesy of Shearwater Sailing. Did I mention there will be an open bar onboard? Of course there will be!
Oh, and I got her a little hardcover book of love poems. She got me Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster double CD. Am I the luckiest man in the world or what?
