Big congrats to ChiZine Publications--fabulous publishers of my novella Chasing the Dragon--for being featured in the SF/F issue of Publishers Weekly! It's great to see Brett Savory and Sandra Kasturi's little press that could getting so much well deserved attention!

Another great scene from Game Change by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin:

"The candidates lined up at the urinals. Giuliani next to McCain next to Huckabee, the rest all in a row. The debate was soon to start, so they were taking care of business--and laughing merrily at the one guy that wasn't there. Poking fun at him, mocking him, agreeing about how much they disliked him. Then Willard Mitt Romney walked into the bathroom and overheard them, bringing on a crashing silence."

This book is like crack!

Chasing the Dragon: A McNally Robinson Booksellers Staff Pick! [Apr. 13th, 2010|03:32 pm]

Happily, Chasing the Dragon was selected as a McNally Robinson Booksellers staff pick! Here's a snippet of what they had to say:

"Chasing the Dragon packs a lot of action and character into its 134 pages of text....The regret, loss and determination imbued in Georgia in so short a span is quite remarkable....Kaufmann draws dragon lore from a multitude of legends and cultures and forges it into something unique. The result is a darkly fantastic read."

Even better, Chasing the Dragon is now available in paperback from your favorite online and brick-and-mortar bookstores!
