Shivers V Review [Apr. 30th, 2009|02:18 pm]

The intriguingly named Bookgasm has some nice things to say about the Shivers V anthology, including the effort by yours truly.

Nicholas Kaufmann treads David Cronenberg territory — and does it well — in “Mysteries of the Cure,” about a newly dumped guy who finds his skin rotting and peeling … until he has sex again.

As I may have mentioned, "Mysteries of the Cure" is the closest I've ever come to writing a vampire story. Except here, the "vampires" don't feed off other people's blood, they take sustenance from breaking other people's hearts. I guess I was in a mood when I wrote this one!

If you're looking to pick up a copy of Shivers V, it is now conveniently available through Amazon.
