There's a Vampire In My House! Horror Writing With Nicholas Kaufmann

Everyone knows Halloween is a vampire's favorite holiday (well, maybe second only to Fangsgiving). It's the one night of the year when vampires can totally be themselves. After all, if everyone else is wearing fake fangs and capes, who's going to be able to tell the real vamps from the poseurs? Vampires are all around us. They might even be people you know! Join us for a spooktacular Halloween writing workshop: THERE'S A VAMPIRE IN MY HOUSE! Because the vampires are closer than you think, and this Halloween, they're coming to YOUR house!

Nicholas Kaufmann is a Bram Stoker Award-nominated horror author with over a dozen short stories published. He lives in Brooklyn. He doesn't know any vampires personally, but he knows people who do.

All materials will be supplied. For ages 12-18.

So if you're a teenager between 12 and 18 -- or if you have a teenager between 12 and 18 -- why not enjoy some Halloween horror writing fun? The Roosevelt Island public library is incredibly easy to get to from all points in New York City. No reservations are necessary, and the event is free!
