Where You Can Find Me: WHC Edition

This is where you will be able to find me at this year's World Horror Convention, when I'm not in the hotel bar, lobby or restaurant, or in my room combing my hair really slowly in front of a giant mirror and cooing, "Who's a pretty nominee?" Okay, that last part was creepy, but also totally true.

Anyway, onto the pretty-much final schedule:

Thursday, March 27, 9:00-9:50 pm
Peer Treasure: How a badass writing group can help you find breakthrough success. (The members of "Who Wants Cake?" have 54 books, 117 short stories, 14 film projects, 23 graphic novels, and over 300 comics published or in the queue, plus 6 Stoker nominations and 1 win. What's their secret?)
(Sarah Langan, Lee Thomas, Nicholas Kaufmann, Rhodi Hawk, F. Paul Wilson
(M), David Wellington, Daniel Braum)

Friday, March 28, 8:00-9:50 pm
Mass Autograph Signing

Saturday, March 29, 4;00-4:50 pm
How to Create Horror Characters Readers Love to Hate
(Heather Graham (mod), Adam Niswander, Kim Paffenroth, Mort
Castle, Nicholas Kaufmann)

Also, I'll be part of the ongoing HWA book signings throughout the weekend. However, I don't know when I've been scheduled for yet.

Lastly, I can also be found at the Bram Stoker Awards Banquet and Ceremony on Saturday night (I'll be the one drenched in nervous sweat and drawing up elaborate plans for scottedelman's "unfortunate accident"), as well as the late night Stoker Party. Because kelliwithani82 and I have to leave on a horrifically early flight Sunday morning, we'll probably stay up partying all night Saturday and just sleep on the plane.

The Wire Finale

Wonderful. So filled with stunning and amazing scenes, and great wrap-ups for all the characters (especially Michael!), that I'm actually at a loss for words, which is rare for your faithful TV Nerd.

R.I.P. The Wire. You will go down in history as one of the best TV shows ever.
