I don't understand why people think Friday the 13th is unlucky. I think it's kind of neat.|
Anyway, did I tell you guys about the cool summer job I landed? In June I'll be heading up to Connecticut to help run a co-ed sleepaway camp called Camp Crystal Lake. It's beautiful up there. Lots of trees and a big lake.
Apparently they need swim teachers, so that'll be part of my duties. But I'm sure these kids can swim just fine. Kids today get lots of swim coaching at school and at the Y. Whatever, I'm just looking to hook up with one of the female counselors. A nice summer fling would be just what the doctor ordered.
I went up there for an interview last month, and I kid you not, there was this freaky old guy who kept getting in my face. I think he was homeless or something, though he did have a really lame bicycle. He kept ranting about how there was a "death curse" and how it's called "Camp Blood" now. He biked off in a hurry after I threatened to call the cops. It was kind of funny seeing this crazy old dude pedal down the street shouting, "Death curse! Death curse!" The townies are always nuts in these places.
Well, not all of them. At the diner I met a woman named Pamela Voorhees. She said she'll be around all summer and might come visit the camp. I hope she does. She seems nice.
