The only reason this didn't take off was because our band name, The Plastic Kaufmann Experience Band Project, was too long to fit on the cassette. I say "our" but really it was all me. I played all the instruments on each song. Not recorded separately on different tracks, either. That's for pussies. I ran from instrument to instrument in the studio while we were recording. That's why the title song, "Slap It!", only has a drumbeat every 1.5 minutes.
Anyway, it was too real for the music industry. They couldn't handle my realness. So that's why I'm not a rock star now.
